About Linda

Linda D. Lam is a founding and co-managing partner of Aviso Legal Group, LLP. Prior to forming Aviso Legal in 2017, she was an attorney with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP for over 14 years, where she focused primarily on complex commercial litigation, including shareholder litigation (class actions and derivative actions), significant contract disputes, real estate, and white-collar crime.

Linda has extensive experience representing clients in state and federal courts across the country and in arbitration and mediation. She has represented and advised clients from a variety of industries, including technology, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, telecommunications, high-tech manufacturing and distribution, food and beverage, higher education, energy, engineering, and real estate.

During her career, Linda has handled many large-scale litigation matters from inception to settlement or judgment. As such, she knows the "ins and outs" of complex cases, including e- discovery rules and the variety of motions brought and strategies employed in such cases. She is particularly adept at evaluating such cases from the outset to determine where there may be efficiencies and which fights are most important. For each case, she develops a winning strategy from the outset, keeping the client's goals and interests in mind.
